MoravoSeed CZ a.s. is a Czech seed company with a tradition dating back to 1991. The company specializes in the breeding, production, and sale of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. It has two breeding stations – in Svijanský Újezd and Lednice na Moravě –, where new varieties adapted to Central European conditions are developed. MoravoSeed maintains more than 460 vegetable varieties and also provides seed for medicinal and aromatic plants as well as garlic. The company does not use GMO methods and promotes environmentally friendly technologies. Seeds are certified according to international standards, and part of the production is tested in a new molecular laboratory in Mikulov.
